Roland Aerophone Mini

Roland Aerophone Mini

This is the Roland Aerophone Mini... it's a digital wind instrument. Basically, it reads your blowing into it and you press the various buttons like a clarinet or saxophone except it's capable of playing different sounds based on the software it uses. I decided that I wanted to learn this instead of trying to learn the saxophone because saxophones aren't that much cheaper and there is no way to control volume on a sax. Every time I play any instrument at night it sounds 12 times louder than I want it to so I thought it's be nice to have something I could adjust!

The downside... or maybe just one of the downsides... is that while it can do many sounds... they mostly sound like synthesized versions of the instruments they're mimicking. It doesn't bother me much... I guess it'd be good to have better sound but I just want to have fun with it. I'm actually getting it for a video series where I aim to learn it... so that's cool! Though, I just got a message from Amazon that my delivery has been delayed to next week which is a bit of a bummer. But one I get it, I'll be sure to let people know!

I can't wait!

Take care!
